Heralded the world over as one of the most beautiful basso cantante voices of our time, Brois Martinovich has graced the major opera houses and concert halls from La Scala to Il Teatro Colon, to New York's Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall. He is equally celebrated for his definitive recordings of major roles on Sony Classical. But he has also made time to cultivate quite an enthusiastic cruise following. His kind and cultured manner off the stage is in stark contrast to some of the bold roles he portrays on stage, but his keen intellect (and striking good looks!) are even more apparent over casual dinners and lounge conversations.
Although music of the highest caliber is his profession, Boris Matinovich is deeply concerned and involved with politics and charities, and is always willing and eager to share his thoughtful views. But from the moment he steps on the stage, he captivates his audience with the overpowering beauty of his artistry and the depth and variety of his repertoire.
